Satbayev University has become more than just a university for me - it was the starting point in shaping my identity as a person, a researcher, and a scientist. At first, I couldn’t secure a state grant. However, that very challenge became the beginning of my research journey. Overcoming my own limitations, spending countless nights in the laboratory and studying hard, I finally achieved my goal - by the end of the first semester, I had earned a GPA of 3.5 and was transferred to a grant. This success proved to me that hard work, discipline, and faith in oneself can change everything.
But I didn’t stop there. My next goal was to reach a GPA of 4.0 - and I achieved it by my third year. That moment was significant for me: I realized that studying on a grant is not a reason to slow down, but a motivation to go even further.
At the end of 2024, I successfully defended my PhD dissertation, continuing the scientific work that began at Satbayev University. Today, I am a recipient of the “Zhas Galym” (Young Scientist) research grant for 2025–2027, the author of several scientific publications, and I hold an h-index of 7.
I am infinitely grateful to Satbayev University for this incredible journey. Here, I learned not only knowledge, but also patience, perseverance, a spirit of inquiry, and responsibility for the science of my country. Today, while continuing to contribute to Kazakhstan’s scientific potential, I proudly say: my path as a scientist began right here - at Polytech.
