Investments in intelligence: Satbayev University scientist received an apartment from the hands of RK President

On the eve of Day of Science Workers, State’s Head Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the outstanding achievements of national researchers. One of the heroes of the ceremony was the representative of Satbayev University Arman Umirzakov, who received the keys to the new apartment personally from President.

Systematic work continues in Kazakhstan to support the scientific elite. The decree signed by President on awarding and encouraging the scientists has become another confirmation that science is officially recognized as a strategic priority of the country.

Arman Ganidinovich Umirzakov, a young and promising scientist, acting head of Electrochemistry and vanadium flow batteries laboratory at Satbayev University Physics and Technology Institute, attracted special attention in the list of awardees.

"Recognition at such a high level is not only a personal victory, but also an indicator that developments in the field of renewable energy and energy storage systems are vital for our state today," the scientist's colleagues note.

Scientific front: vanadium batteries and the future of energy

The choice of Arman Umirzakov's candidacy is not accidental. His work at Electrochemistry laboratory is directly related to innovative vanadium flow batteries, a technology that can make a breakthrough in energy storage from renewable sources. These are exactly "green" innovations that modern Kazakhstan relies on.

Awarding a housing to young scientists is a powerful signal for the entire academic community. Satbayev University once again confirms the status of the country's leading technical university, whose staff forms the intellectual framework of the republic.
