Satbayev University and University of Lorraine have launched a double degree program in Petroleum Geology

Satbayev University is expanding opportunities for undergraduates by signing the agreement with University of Lorraine (France) to launch a dual degree program in “Petroleum Geology.”

University of Lorraine is one of the leading universities in France with a strong scientific tradition and a high academic reputation. The key participant of the program is Higher National School of Geology (ENSG), recognized by experts as one of the best educational institutions in France in geological sciences sphere.

The new program will allow Satbayev University undergraduates to study both in Kazakhstan and in France, receiving diplomas from two universities at once. An important part of the collaboration will be the participation of French professors and ENSG experts in the educational process at Satbayev University, which will provide students with access to advanced knowledge and international experience in oil and gas geology sphere.

Satbayev University and University of Lorraine have a long-standing partnership, and the signing of the given agreement is a significant step in evolving the academic mobility, scientific exchange and training of highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry.
