The competition brought together the best student teams from four leading universities in the country - Satbayev University, KazLAACE, KBTU and ENU. The final was the culmination of weeks of work on projects dedicated to sustainable construction and the application of eco-friendly solutions in residential, office and educational architecture. The participants demonstrated a deep understanding of the OMIR methodology developed by KazGBC and thoughtful approaches to creating "green" buildings of the future.
Satbayev University team’s victory is the result of the university's systematic work to implement the sustainable development principles in the educational process and all aspects of university life. Young architects not only master theory, but also participate in practical competitions and real-world cases, interacting with the professional community and international experts. Their projects have demonstrated that green thinking is becoming an integral part of engineering education at the country's first technical university.
