Satbayev University from laboratories to creative spaces, the Georgian delegation appreciated Satbayev University’s possibilities

Satbayev University was visited by the delegation of Education, Science and Youth Ministry of Georgia headed by deputy minister Baya Kvitsiani. During the meeting, the parties got acquainted with University’s scientific, academic and international potential, as well as discussed prospects for cooperation with Georgian universities and strengthening the international relations in the science and education sphere.

The meeting’s key topic was the study of Satbayev University's experience in establishing strategic partnerships with global research centers and integrating dual degree programs with TOP 100 universities in the world. The guests also studied the issues of internationalization of the Kazakh education system, expansion of international partnerships, attracting international students and developing branches of foreign universities as an important tool for integration into the global educational space.

As part of the campus tour, the delegation inspected University’s scientific infrastructure, familiarizing itself in detail with the experience of commercialization of scientific elaborations and interaction with the industry. A separate part of the visit was a visit to the Art Lab, where the guests noted the importance of combining the engineering education with evolvement of students' creative skills and witnessed a student performance that delighted foreign guests.

The visit confirmed Satbayev University’s role as a scientific and educational hub of the region. The active exchange of experience in evolving international cooperation contributes to the training of competitive specialists, the introduction of innovations and contributes to the achievement of Sustainable development goals, including quality education and industrial innovations.
