Satbayev University Students Take Top Honors at the National Kazakh Language Olympiad

A team of students from Satbayev University took second place at the National Subject Olympiad in “Kazakh Language,” which was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University.

Salamat Israilova, Roman Tsoi, and Alexander Sukhinin proudly represented Satbayev University. The team’s academic advisor was Kazakh language instructor Bulbul Karbova.

The competition aimed to elevate the status of the state language, develop students’ language skills, and strengthen interethnic cooperation. Nineteen teams from all regions of the country participated. During the competition, students representing 17 ethnic groups demonstrated a high level of proficiency in the Kazakh language across all areas of language use: speaking, writing, reading, and listening.

Student participation in such initiatives contributes to the development of human capital, the strengthening of social harmony, and the promotion of the state language as a vital element of national identity. This directly influences the formation of an inclusive and sustainable society, aligning with sustainable development goals, including quality education and the reduction of inequality.
