 Satbayev University and Tashkent Kimyo International University discussed the continuation of cooperation

Satbayev University hosted a meeting with the delegation from Tashkent Kimyo International University (Uzbekistan), during which the parties discussed the evolvement of academic cooperation and expansion of joint degree programs.

Uzbek University delegation was headed by Rector Akmal Allakulliyev. On the part of Satbayev University, the negotiations were conducted by University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev. The meeting was also attended by directors of institutes, heads of departments and representatives of the international offices of both universities.

The meeting’s main topic was the prospects for strengthening the academic ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Participants discussed the development of joint double degree programs, the implementation of projects in the field of digital technologies, engineering and educational innovations. Special attention was paid to exchanging the students and teachers, as well as joint research and publication activities.

After the official part, the guests visited University's laboratory complex, where they were presented with MIT FabLab innovation spaces and Hyundai Motors training and production site. Delegation got acquainted with the infrastructure of Satbayev University, where dual education and applied research programs are implemented.

The meeting ended with the agreement to continue cooperation and prepare new initiatives in the field of engineering education, digitalization and academic mobility. The parties confirmed their intention to make the partnership between the universities sustainable and strategic, contributing to the growth of the region’s scientific and technical potential.
