Digital Transformation of Healthcare: The FreeDoc Project
An innovative IT project in the healthcare sector – the digital platform “FreeDoc” – is being developed in Kazakhstan to improve the accessibility and quality of medical services. The project is being implemented by MedLink under the leadership of Adlet Kassymbekov and is currently at an active development stage.
FreeDoc is a unified digital ecosystem that brings together patients, doctors, and medical institutions. The platform enables users to find specialists based on various criteria, including qualifications, experience, and ratings, as well as to book appointments online. The service will be available both as a web platform and a mobile application.
One of the key features of the project is the introduction of a digital medical record system, which will allow real-time storage and updating of patient health data. The system will also include automatic reminders for scheduled doctor visits.
The project aims to increase the accessibility of medical services and improve the quality of patient care. Through the digitalization of processes, users will be able to save time, quickly find the right specialist, and access comprehensive information about their health.
In the future, FreeDoc is expected to become an important part of Kazakhstan’s digital healthcare ecosystem, contributing to industry development, increasing public trust, and promoting the adoption of modern technological solutions.
