Discussion of joint projects with Federation of RK Trade Unions continues at Satbayev University

Deputy Chairman of Federation of RK Trade Unions Nurlan Uteshev visited the University to discuss new areas of development and cooperation in the field of science, technology and social infrastructure. The visit was held in the warm and constructive atmosphere and was an important step towards strengthening the partnership in digitalization and trade union work sphere. The official part of the meeting was attended by Vice-rector for Administrative, Social and Educational Work Sapar Shalabayev, heads of departments, scientists and representatives of the university.

The guest was presented with a tour of the key facilities of Satbayev University. Bolashak Med Cluster demonstrated technologies for the production of medical devices, from the localization of Philips ultraportable ultrasound to the development of artificial intelligence systems for the diagnosis of fundus diseases and cataracts. The UAV Laboratory showed the designs of unmanned systems and the specifics of their application in real conditions. The guest was able to see how the developments of Satbayev University are being tested and become part of the modern technological infrastructure.

Program’s main part was the visits to dormitories and social infrastructure. The distinguished guest was introduced to Dos Mukasan Uyasi dormitory, which was returned to the university this year, as well as the site allocated for a new modern dormitory, which will be built in the future. According to the plans, within the framework of "Five Social Initiatives" program, a dormitory with 160 beds will be built on the site of Technopark on Satbayev University campus. The project’s investor will be VIAR-Company, the construction will be completed in 2026.
