Satbayev University celebrated the 100th anniversary of Dosmukhamed Kishibekov

A solemn event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Dosmukhamed Kishibekov, an outstanding philosopher, humanitarian scientist and one of the key thinkers of the national scientific school, was held at Satbayev University. The event moderator was Ulykpan Sydykov, a well-known philosopher, doctor of sciences, professor, public figure, honored worker, author of numerous scientific and educational works.

Dosmukhamed Kishibekov is one of the most respected figures in the Kazakh humanities. Doctor of philosophy, professor, academician, participant of Great Patriotic War, he left a rich legacy: more than 600 scientific papers and over 50 books and monographs. His research covered social philosophy, the worldview of nomadic civilization, patterns of development of social consciousness and general issues of humanitarian thought. The scientist's work was highly appreciated both in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Scientists, veterans and members of University’s “Aksakaldar Alkassy” organization gathered to celebrate the merits of the university legend, who shared warm memories of the scientist, noted his contribution to evolving the humanitarian thought in Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of preserving the scientific continuity. Rector of Satbayev University Meiram Begentayev conveyed his congratulations to the audience by recording a video message in which he emphasized the scale of the hero of the day's personality:

"Dosmukhamed Kishibekov is a rare thinker who has managed to raise the worldview of his people to a new level in the context of the global philosophical tradition," said Rector. "His scientific legacy has become a significant milestone in evolving the Kazakh spiritual culture, and the date itself serves as a reminder of the long path of creating the national philosophical school and its contribution to world humanitarian knowledge."

As part of the event, a new book by Ulykpan Sydykov and Bakytzhan Orazaliyev "Zerdeli oydin zergeri" was presented, dedicated to the life and work of Dosmukhamed Kishibekov. The authors tried to reflect the evolution of his philosophical views and the influence he had on the development of the national scientific schools. Another touching moment of the meeting was the performances of the famous dombrist Bilyal Yskakov, a university graduate, Kazakh pop star Yerkin Maulen and the knight of “Kurmet” medal Adlet Mussa. Their performances created an atmosphere of deep spiritual connection with the philosopher's legacy.

The warm and informative meeting was an important reminder that Satbayev University highly values the talents of its scientists, cherishes the memory of scientific traditions creators and passes them on to future generations. University celebrates important dates in the lives of scientists and founders of University and opens personalized classrooms dedicated to their scientific achievements. These initiatives serve as a significant tool to strengthen the continuity and preserve University’s historical memory.
