Satbayev University has become a hub of knowledge in Central Asia: Kazakhstan shares its experience with universities in the region

Satbayev University hosted a meeting with Kokand State University delegation (Republic of Uzbekistan), following which the parties signed the cooperation memorandum in the education, science and academic mobility sphere. Samgat Yermekbayev, First Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Strategic Development at Satbayev University, and Nigora Kadirova, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Kokand State University, agreed to develop academic mobility, launch joint courses and advanced training programs for teachers.
"Satbayev University is becoming the educational and scientific hub of Central Asia today. We are ready to share our knowledge and experience with the purpose to evolve engineering education in the region together," Samgat Yermekbayev said.
Uzbek side’s representatives showed particular interest in organizing the professional development programs and transferring expertise from Satbayev University in the field of artificial intelligence and programs in the sustainable development goals sphere.
Kokand State University is one of the leading universities in the Ferghana Valley, located in the historical and cultural center of Uzbekistan. University representatives expressed their willingness to accept students from Kazakhstan for study and practice, and Satbayev University expressed its willingness to provide access to its laboratories, technology parks and innovative ecosystems. Together, the universities will create educational bridges, evolve joint research, and help faculty and students grow professionally.
