Satbayev University has established an academy of digital technologies and artificial intelligence

Academy of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence - ADT&AI has started working on the basis of Satbayev University. The new structure is engaged in executing the digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies in the training of new generation specialists, improving University’s internal processes as well as elaborating the corporate sector solutions.

ADT&AI evolves modern online courses, making technical education accessible regardless of students’ location. Academy has also launched professional development programs for employees of Kazakhstani enterprises and helps businesses implement digital transformation tools in their work processes. Digital services and solutions based on artificial intelligence are being created on the basis of our own data processing center.

AI Laboratory, which implements intelligent algorithms in educational and corporate products, plays a special role in Academy’s work.

"We are creating not just an educational platform, but a full-fledged technological environment where education, infrastructure and artificial intelligence work together. Our goal is to provide students and partners with real tools for working and developing in the digital economy," said Nataliya Kudryavtseva, project manager and business analyst at Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

Academy of Digital Technologies & Artificial Intelligence was established as part of performing the national AI-Sana program on artificial intelligence development in Kazakhstan. This is a large-scale government initiative aimed at advancing the AI competencies among students, supporting startups and creating a new generation technological environment. Program is implemented with the support of Science and Higher Education Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the country's leading universities, including Satbayev University.

The opening ceremony was attended by Assistant to Republic’s President Kuanyshbek Yessekeyev and Vice-President of RK National Academy of Sciences Askar Dzhumadildayev, who appreciated Satbayev University's innovative infrastructure as well as projects based on artificial intelligence that are being developed on the new Academy basis.

Based on the best international practices and experience of the world's leading universities, Satbayev University relies on the evolvement of applied AI solutions for Kazakhstan’s economy and support for technological entrepreneurship. Particular attention is paid to launching the student startups, collaboration with international experts and the development of projects focused on the global digital technology market.
