Satbayev University hosted a meeting of students with “Plus One” foundation

A student meeting dedicated to Volunteer Day was held at Satbayev University, organized by Project Management Institute. During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Plus One” foundation and Satbayev University Project Management Institute, aimed at developing the volunteer projects and supporting the educational initiatives.

At the meeting, Dinara Shazhimbayeva, Chairwoman of “+1” charitable foundation, presented the foundation's activities and spoke about new opportunities for involving young people in social initiatives. The students learned how they can participate in the foundation's program, helping children from rural areas get equipment and access to additional education. The participants discussed the prospects of joint actions and stressed the importance of involving young people in solving the social problems.

 “Our foundation does not just give away equipment, we give an opportunity. One old laptop, one simple gesture of goodwill can be the very flap of a small butterfly's wing that will change someone's life. If everyone contributes, tells a friend, or just makes a repost, help will reach the child in the village through them. And this child, having gained access to education and new knowledge, will be able to grow into a successful professional who will move Kazakhstan forward tomorrow. Our vision is simple: +1 laptop is +1 successful child. We believe that this is how big changes are born," Dinara said
