Satbayev University hosted a student scientific and practical conference on Artificial Intelligence

On April 11, 2025, the Satbayev International Conference 2025 – “Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Production Systems: Solutions for Process Optimization and Automation”  was held at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev. As part of the conference, the Department of Foreign Languages organized a breakout session titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Learning by Students of Technical Specialties.” A total of 32 presentations were delivered by first-year students and Professors D. Hartman and S. Coughlan from Michigan State University. The presentations covered a wide range of topics related to artificial intelligence and its role in learning English for future engineers. Visiting professor Samantha Caughlan highlighted the students' research efforts and their overall language proficiency during the session. The department awarded all participants with certificates and small gifts.
