Satbayev University Participated in the Spring Meeting of Eco Network
The first spring meeting of the Conscious Companies Club, organized by the Eco Network community, was held. The event brought together representatives of businesses, educational institutions, and environmental initiatives, including Satbayev University as an active partner in the field of sustainable development.
Evgeniy Mukhamedzhanov, founder of Eco Network, delivered a welcome speech and presentation. During his speech, he introduced the community’s current projects and initiatives, shared successful case studies on improving the environmental situation in Almaty, and encouraged participants to become more actively involved in environmental practices and joint projects.
Special attention was given to already implemented initiatives. One notable example is the installation of a plastic collection “Apple” container at the intersection of Satpayev and Masanchi streets. This facility is actively used by Satbayev University students and residents of nearby residential complexes, demonstrating a high level of environmental awareness and engagement among young people.
Representatives of Eco Network partner companies also spoke at the meeting. In particular, Environment Solution LTD presented an innovative composting technology aimed at efficient processing of food waste, opening new opportunities for implementing sustainable solutions in urban infrastructure.
Participation in such events highlights Satbayev University’s strategic commitment to the principles of sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and the promotion of conscious consumption culture among students and partners.
