Satbayev University scholars participated in the international conference  dedicated to the Abai’s legacy in Karakalpakstan

Uderbayev A., Head of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages, along with scholars Odanova S. and Absattar A., participated in the international scientific-theoretical conference titled "The Influence of Abai's Spiritual Legacy on the Turkic World", held in Nukus, Karakalpakstan. The event was dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and thinker Kunanbayev Abai’s birth and brought together leading scientists of the Turkic world.

The conference was organized by the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The plenary session was moderated by the rector of the institute, Kadyrov K. Conference participants presented scholarly reports that explored the significance of Abai's work in intercultural dialogue.

Uderbayev A. delivered a special congratulation, that was addressed to the participants of the conference from the rector of Satbayev University – Begentayev M.

And as a symbol of strengthening scientific cooperation and cultural exchange, he also presented the Al-Farabi and Abai Center being created at the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute with an academic five-volume collection of works by academician Satbayev K., the founder of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.

Visiting of such events emphasizes the striving of Satbayev University to develop humanitarian science, strengthen cultural ties between the Turkic peoples and form an intellectual space for dialogue based on the spiritual legacy of great thinkers.
