Satbayev University students became winners of ALMA CUP 2026 tournament

Satbayev University student teams successfully performed at ALMA CUP 2026 city youth sports tournament in Almaty, which brought together the strongest student volleyball teams in the city. 53 teams took part in the competition, which ensured a high level of competition.

Following the tournament results, University's women's team took the honorable third place, demonstrating well-coordinated play, tactical literacy and team spirit. The men's national team also showed a high level of preparation and reached the final, winning the second place.

National teams’ performance confirmed the high level of student sports evolvement at the university and its contribution to forming the active and healthy youth in Kazakhstan. Participation in the tournament allowed students not only to show athletic skills, but also to develop leadership skills, responsibility and teamwork skills.
