Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation has opened the acceptance of applications for YDL summer program participation

Yessenov Data Lab Summer School is a 4-week intensive training course for Kazakhstani young scientists and specialists in big data analysis skills. The program is designed for 20 participants, and will be held from June 17 to July 13, 2026 in Almaty. Participants will receive certificates from the Yessenov Data Lab school, as well as an academic transcript from AlmaU that meets Bologna System’s international educational standards.

School's curriculum includes learning Python and chat-bots, machine learning, large language models, and computer vision. This year we have devoted a whole week to evolving the AI agents, where strong lecturers - leading professors and experts at the local level, as well as international guest speakers - will teach you all this.

Program is open to RK citizens over the age of 18, students in bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as current specialists in technical and natural science fields. Fund provides flights and accommodation for the winners from other cities at its own expense. Meals will be provided to all participants of the School.

School program:

  • 2 weeks online - from June 15 to June 26, 2026
  • 2 weeks offline - from June 29 to July 10, 2026 in Almaty

During your training, you:
