Spring filled with creativity: Satbayev University hosted 58th “Spring in KazNRTU” festival

Satbayev University has completed one of the most anticipated celebrations of the student spring - the traditional "Spring at KazNRTU - 2025" festival. For 58^th time, the creative competition brought together students from all university institutes, turning the campus into a space of music, dance and inspiration.

“KazNRTU Spring” festival is not just a talent contest, but a whole week of celebration during which participants demonstrate their skills in vocals, choreography, theatrical productions and instrumental music. Festival was created in the same year that the legendary Dos-Mukassan Ensemble was founded, and has remained one of the most memorable events of university life ever since.

Festival ended with Gala concert, which included the best performances created by representatives of eight institutes. Each band offered a unique genre approach, from choreography to theatrical mini-performances, from instrumental compositions to original songs.

Grand Prix of the festival was deservedly awarded to O. Baikonurov Mining and Metallurgical Institute - the jury noted the participants’ high performing technique and artistry. The first place was taken by Automation and Information Technology Institute, the second place was taken by A. Burkitbayev Institute of Energy and Mechanical Engineering, and the third place was won by Project Management Institute.

Audience Award was given to M. Tynyshbayev School of Transport Engineering and Logistics, and the special award "For Striving for Victory" was awarded to two institutes at once - T. Bassenov Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering and K. Turyssov Institute of Geology and Oil-Gas.

Science and creativity always go hand in hand at Satbayev University. Festival has ended, but the atmosphere of fun, cooperation and inspiration that prevailed throughout the week will remain in the memory of the students for a long time.
