The annual English Language Olympiad concluded at Satbayev University
Satbayev University successfully hosted its traditional annual University English Language Olympiad, organized by the Department of Foreign Languages. Participants demonstrated their listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills, showcasing their command of the language across a range of formats.
Following two competitive stages, the jury selected a group of participants who displayed the strongest communicative competencies. The overall winner was first-year student of the Institute of Architecture and Construction, Balnur Berdikhan. The prize-winners (2nd and 3rd places) included Viktor Kigai, Kuralai Sagyndyk, Nabiy Zhanadulla, and Mukhammad Zhumatayev. They earned the right to represent Satbayev University at the inter-university English Language Olympiad among technical universities of Almaty, which will take place in the spring.
