There was held a charity auction in support of the children's hospice at “My House” exhibition

A charity auction was held at Central State Museum of Kazakhstan as part of the opening of the artist Abtu Anet’s "My House" exhibition. Two paintings were sold at the auction, and all proceeds were sent to the palliative care children's hospice "I am with you". The exhibition of paintings is now open for viewing.

The exhibition, which includes almost 30 paintings, is dedicated to the beauty and fragility of Almaty region nature - from Lake Kaindy and Kolsai to Charyn Canyon and Trans-Ili Alatau. Each work by Abtu Anet is not just a landscape, but a manifesto for protecting the nature, a reminder of the importance of caring for Kazakhstan’s unique corners. According to the artist, the inspiration for the series was personal trips to picturesque places, where she saw with her own eyes how mass tourism was changing the appearance of natural monuments. Several paintings from the series have already been granted international awards, including victories at the London Golden Talent competition.

Abtu Anet, the artist's creative pseudonym, refers to the ancient Egyptian fish deities who protect the solar boat of Ra. This symbolism highlights her mission: to be a guide and protector, not only in art, but also in real life. Her "My House" exhibition is a chance not only to discover powerful and emotional art, but also to make a real contribution to the preservation of life and nature.
