There was held a solemn military oath ceremony at Satbayev University Military Affairs Institute

On the eve of Fatherland Defender Day, a solemn ceremony of students taking the military oath was held at Satbayev University Military Affairs Institute. This year, 900 students who received the rank of sergeants and reserve officers took the oath. Ceremony was held in the solemn atmosphere with participation of University's leadership, representatives of Defense Ministry, veterans of Armed Forces and students’ parents.

For the students, the given solemn ritual has become not just a formality, but an important personal step in life, a symbol of private responsibility, honor and devotion to Motherland. The young defenders swore to defend the interests of their homeland and remain faithful to military duty throughout their lives.

"Today I am standing here not just as a student, but as a citizen of my country," student Alibek Sansyzbai said at the ceremony. - We grew up listening to stories about heroism, honor and love for Motherland. Today we really feel the meaning of these words. We take an oath from the heart, and we will walk this path with honor!"

The invited guests noted the high level of students' training and emphasized the personal significance of this day for each family. Among the guests there was a famous Kazakhstani athlete, boxer Angelina Lucas, whose brother also took the military oath. In her speech, she stressed the significance of inner strength and loyalty to the chosen path:

"Sport has taught me one thing - character decides everything. A real man and a real officer must keep their word, be strong in spirit and always remain loyal to their state," the athlete said. "Wherever you are, remember that Motherland begins with each of us."

After the ceremony, the traditionally organized program introduced the guests to the work of Military Affairs Institute and the training of students at the military department. Program included hand-to-hand combat demonstrations, a tactical episode using the 2B14 82mm mortar "Tray", a performance by a platoon of drummers and a modern drone show. The solemn part was completed by "the soldier's porridge" and "Kazak Army" marching song performed by the combined choir of students.

Atmosphere of celebration, unity and pride for the young defenders will remain in the memory of all participants and guests of the event for a long time. Ceremony not only marked a new stage in the life of the students, but also strengthened the bond of generations, recalling the importance of duty, honor and dedication to the country.
