Young Scientist from Satbayev University Receives Apartment Keys from the Minister

A solemn ceremony was held in Almaty to present certificates for new apartments to Kazakhstan's top young scientists, following the directive of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Among the recipients was a young researcher from Satbayev University, Nazerke Berdikul, who received the keys from the hands of Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

Scientists at Satbayev University excel in various fields, balancing research with public engagement. Nazerke Berdikul is one such scientist who has made her mark not only in science but also as an eco-activist and a mother.

"I want to express my sincere gratitude for this unique opportunity provided to me through the ‘Zhas Galym’ program, which supports my research in the field of construction and building materials," she said in her speech. "This support creates comfortable living conditions for my family and enables further development."

Nazerke Berdikul is a recognized specialist in building materials. Her project focuses on improving the quality of construction materials, particularly concrete, by modifying its structure with activated ash from Almaty CHPP-2 and other chemical additives. She is the author of two patents and has published over ten scientific articles in prestigious international journals. She was awarded the "Best Young Scientist – 2023 CIS" medal and the title of "Best Researcher – 2023."

Beyond her scientific achievements, Nazerke is a mother of three children, making a significant contribution to the future of Kazakhstan’s society. Her dedication and commitment to national values help address pressing issues in construction materials.
